Junior Electrical Engineer
Job Description As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will join the project team to perform field service activities such as installation, testing, and commissioning of high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and low voltage (LV) electrical systems, including GIS/AIS, transformers, switchgear, MCC, and other supporting equipment. You will be mentored by senior engineers and have the opportunity to develop technical skills directly in the field.


Responsibilities

1. Assist in performing electrical testing and commissioning for HV/MV/LV systems according to project specifications.

2. Learn and understand single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.

3. Operate and maintain electrical testing equipment under the supervision of senior engineers.

4. Prepare testing reports and technical documentation in an organized and systematic manner.

5. Maintain good communication with the project team and clients.


Qualifications

1. Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.

2. Open to fresh graduates who are eager and committed to grow in the field of testing and commissioning.

3. Preferred: Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams (single-line and schematic diagrams).

4. Preferred: Basic knowledge of GIS, transformers, switchgear, and MCC.

5. Willing to work on-site and be assigned to various project locations.

6. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn. 8. Basic English skills are a plus.

9. Physically and mentally healthy.

PT Blue Power International is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to join our team in the installation and construction projects of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) across Indonesia.


Main Qualifications:
• Possess a competency certificate in the field of solar power plant installation and construction, minimum Level 3, issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM).
• Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK) majoring in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in solar power system installation.
• Able to read technical drawings and follow installation standards for PLTS systems.
• Understand the working principles of On-Grid and Off-Grid PLTS systems.
• Able to work at heights and in field environments.
• Physically and mentally fit, and willing to be assigned outside the city or region.

• Perform installation of PLTS systems according to SOP and technical standards.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on fieldwork.
• Coordinate with the technical team and project supervisors.


Additional Requirements:

• Not currently bound by an employment contract with another party.
